News & Reviews

November 15th, 2010
We have three performances coming up in November/December (See our Appearance Schedule)

Brenda has been working on a few songs where she'll be doing the vocals. A Patsy Cline song and another made famous by Bonnie Raitt. We're looking forward to the new sound she'll bring to our performances.

The Harvest Hootenanny ! at Burton Hall is happening again! Last spring it was...well it was a Hoot ! A Lot of fun and a lot of good music. They had a great turnout. The place was pretty full to begin with and as the evening went on it got packed. I expect this time around to be even better.

We'll be the opening act. As the evening
progresses the music gets progressively
....more...lively. And the audience morphs
to match the music.

In December we'll be at our
favorite restaurant,
111 in Greenwich.

We'll be doing the evening of the 11th and then again New Years Eve.

We hope to see you.

Many thanks to the people at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls for inviting us to play at the preview of their exhibition, "Degas and Music."

The event was great. The interior courtyard of the Hyde House is a wonderful performance space for a French musette accordion and guitar.

- Winter 2009

Last year was a good year for music. We put together a set list of about 40 songs that we like to perform
and from early summer of '08 we were out playing as often as possible.

Starting in May of last year, with the Farmers' Market in Cambridge, NY, we managed to fill quite a few Sundays with outside performances on the lawn across from the Cambridge Hotel. We also enjoyed a regular monthly date providing dinner music at The West Village Market, also in Cambridge.

We added some Christmas songs to our set list for an evening of performing Saturday, December 13th in
the Lounge at 111 Main Street Restaurant in Greenwich, NY.

After a slight delay due to a power outage, the evening went very nicely. Thanks to all who braved the
weather to attend the artist's reception, dine at the restaurant and listen to the music.

We played again in Greenwich at 111 Main Street Restaurant last New Year's Eve. As always, their lounge is warm and inviting, and their chef is amazing.

Valentine's Day was another full house at 111 in Greenwich and a great evening for music and good food.
